How are Appointments Scheduled?
We reserve a specific time for your child's care, and we make every effort to see your child at the appointed time. These dental appointments may vary according to your child's needs and level of cooperation. By staying on schedule, we can provide every child the attention and care they deserve in as pleasant of an atmosphere as possible. Our office offers appointments Monday through Thursday.
Inadvertent delays to the schedule can occur and your patience is very much appreciated. Each child is an individual, and some may require more "tender loving care" than others. We ask for your understanding in that your child may be the next one needing our extra attention.
We do ask that parents/guardians assume responsibility for their appointment time. If you do need to change an appointment, we ask that you provide our office with a 48-hour notice/2 business days notice. This courtesy will allow us to make this time available to patients who could benefit by having treatment done sooner.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, you may be asked to re-schedule.
If any family member on your account has failed to show for one appointment, there will be one last attempt to re-schedule. If a second appointment is missed, ALL family members will become inactive in our system and will need to seek treatment elsewhere. We will provide emergency service only for 30 days from the date the family became inactive.
Do I Stay with My Child During the Visit?
We are committed to providing a caring environment and believe your child will benefit from coming to the treatment area alone. However, we understand the desire to be with your child during the visit and are working to update our policies to accommodate everyone. Please ask and we will determine the best approach with you.
We take your child's health and safety very seriously. Therefore, our entire team is thoroughly trained in OSHA compliant sterilization techniques. Please feel free to ask anyone of our team members any questions you may have regarding our sterilization protocols.
Payment for professional services is prepaid and/or due at the time dental treatment is provided. Every effort will be made to provide a comprehensive treatment plan that gives your child the best possible care. We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards and most major credit cards. As an additional option, we provide third party financing through CareCredit.
CareCredit is a convenient, no interest low minimum monthly payment plan for your entire family designed to pay for healthcare charges not covered by insurance. You can also contact CareCredit at (800) 365-8295.
We will be happy to immediately file claims on your behalf when we receive your insurance information. The accuracy of all the information we receive is essential for proper claim filing.
Our office will provide you an estimate of your portion of dental services for your child; however, we can not guarantee what your insurance company will pay on a claim. Please understand that filing your claims is a courtesy our office provides to our patients, it does not guarantee payment. We are providing our professional services to your children not the insurance company. Consequently, you are ultimately responsible for payment of our fees.

I wanted to thank you for taking such good care of my children, Lindsay and Simon Baltzell. Today, Lindsay had another tooth pulled and talked about how wonderful her nurse J was. She said, “my nurse said she would stay with me the entire time and she even held my hand when I needed her to.” I was very lucky as a child and had a wonderful pediatric dentist. My husband’s experience was rather terrible, so it brings us great peace knowing our children are so well taken care of when they come for cleanings or dental work.
