How are Appointments Scheduled?
Do I Stay with My Child During the Visit? We
ask that you allow your child to accompany our staff through the dental
experience. We are all highly experienced in helping children
overcome anxiety. We can work with your child one-on-one giving them
100% of our attention. Separation anxiety is not uncommon in children, so
please try not to be concerned if your child begins to cry or becomes
upset as we escort them to the treatment area. These behaviors are normal and will soon diminish. Studies and
experience have shown that most children over the age of 2 years react
more positively when permitted to experience the dental visit on their own
and in an environment designed for children.
We take your child's health and safety very
seriously. Therefore, our entire clinical staff is thoroughly
trained in OSHA compliant sterilization techniques. Please feel free
to ask anyone of our team members any questions you may have regarding our
sterilization protocols. Payment is due in full on or before the date of service. Financial arrangements must be made prior to an account becoming delinquent to avoid additional charges. If your child needs extensive dental treatment, financial arrangements will be made outlining terms which will include pre-payment of your estimated portion. As a courtesy to you, we will submit a "pre-determination" for your child's treatment to the insurance company to assist you in determining your actual benefits. If you wish to begin treatment before the insurance company defines your exact benefits, you will be required to pay 50% of the total fee for your child's dental treatment. Once we receive notice of reimbursement from the insurance company, we will adjust your account accordingly. As a courtesy to you, we will submit your insurance claims. Your co-payment is due at the time of your child's treatment. The estimate provided by this office is to be considered only a guideline until the insurance payment is received and we can make no guarantee of the amount insurance will pay. You are responsible for all fees not covered by your insurance company. Dental insurance is not designed to pay for all dental care. Most contracts have limits and/or various degrees of co-payment.
